Sunday the 10th of January was the second anniversary of Don't Look Now! ... yes, yes I know I'm a little late!
It now seems hard to believe that there was life before blogging ....
I have no idea what I did with my time before Don't Look Now!!!
... other than run around after this lot of course!!!
Blogging has been so good for me in so very many ways!
I have gotten to know so many wonderful people through blogging ...
it has provided me with a creative distraction in a time of my life where it was so desperately needed ...
... and quite unexpectedly ... blogging has paved the way toward a whole new career ....
... a whole new direction in my life that I would never have thought possible two years ago when I first clicked on Save Post ...
Thank you!
... to all of you! It certainly wouldn't be as much fun without you!!!!!
Now we all know that one can't have a Blogaversary with out a giveaway!!!! So if you leave a comment here between now and mid night on the 25th of February (Australian EST) you will have the opportunity to collect one of these three prizes...
Two people will each collect a copy of my pattern How does your garden grow, A Quilter's Diary (featuring stacks of beautiful quilts by some amazing people including Tracey, Claire & me!), a packet of Lite Steam-A-Seam2 & 2m of Floriani Stitch & Wash Fusible
Finally, if you purchase any one of my patterns from any of my retailers between now and 12 midnight Australian EST on the 25th of February (must be in this time period please) and you send me confirmation of this via email before midnight on the 26th of February, I will randomly draw one person who will receive the original Thank you!cushion (see above) plus a Country Life Diary & a packet of Lite Steam-A-Seam2 & 2 metres of Floriani Stitch & Wash Fusible.
There are some new retailers too just to make this a little easier for you ...
Minlation Country Crafts & Patchwork - sorry no website
Plus all of the existing shops and you can find their details here ...
Good luck!
Thank you to everyone who left me such beautiful comments on my last post ... they were much appreciated! Joshua loved his first week and I have found something to fill the gap ...
This is Tom (centre)! He is so adorable and has soaked up every spare minute of my time!!!
He and his brother& sisters are rescued kittens ... if you would like one well I suspect you are probably too late as these little cuties are going to be walking out the door!!!!
As for me, well .... I spent the weekend at Sewjournwith Jan & 6 others sewing, eating, relaxing & generally enjoying ourselves & each others company.
Jan, Kerry, Lara, Mary, Kylie, Leah & Donna (left to right)
Mary & Donna traveled all the way from Canberra to join us!!! Donna is lucky enough to work at Addicted to Fabric! I am so looking forward to my trip there in a couple of weeks! Donna had a very beautiful pack of fabric with her that they sell with together with my patterns at A2F ...
Not bad?!!!! Makes you just want to go buy some fabric doesn't it???!!!!
Thank you guys for a really terrific weekend!!!! There are many other photos to share from the weekend but for now I need to finish up and get some sleep ... I'll post them on Flickr in the next few days.
So what's next in the house of Don't Look Now ... well .... I'm off to Patchwork House in the morning for my first workshop there for the year!
... and on Saturday I will be scooting off to Ballarat for the last day of a workshop that we started a couple of weeks ago ... these guys came from far and wide!!!
I can't wait to see how you guys are coming along ... but more on this next week!
Just a thought for those of you who are locals and have been thinking about joining the Joseph's Coat Quiltalong but either haven't gotten around to it yet or maybe you might like a little more coaching ... if you are interested in coming along to a class to get you started or over a hump then email me and we will look into setting something up.
Good luck with the give away and thank you again for all of your support over the past two years!
Enjoy what's left of the week!
Kellie
PS. Finally we have a Sydney class!!! Woooo Hoooo! Go take a peek!!!!!!
Congratulations, please keep blogging, making patterns and sharing these with us. Thanks for the give-away.

first of all I want to apologize for my rude english...just learning. I'm Xènia, from Barcelona (Spain) and added to congratulate you for your 2 years of blog-life I want to ask you a question. I'm starting to try with you technic of sewing, I already buyed a quilting peace for my sweing machine, to quilt free (i don't know the name in english...) wathever, You put the aplications inthe clithe with a fusable web and then sew in the borders, but with row boedres, I mean without floding them, isn't it? Well I want to have it clear before start doing it.
Thank for your atenttion, ans congratulations again.
