Have a fabulous trip Kellie!!! Can't wait to hear about all your adventures - especially about the Houston quilt show. Your latest apron applique design is so sweet - will look great as a quilt. Just wait until your boys are older - it is unbelievable how much teenage boys eat.

Have a WONDERFUL time!

You do realise, don't you, that cotton quilting fabric is fabulously cheap in the States. I just know you're going to come back with a suitcase-ful. Or even better, fill a new suitcase and have it shipped over!

Take care :-) x

Have a safe trip! I am completely jealous, but I am sure my time to go will come one day!

(Oh, and today I used your binding tutorial to match up my stripes too!)

We hope you all have an absolutely soooper doooper time , miss you already :-)

Have a great trip!

Have a great time Kellie. Yes fabric is so much cheaper here than back home in Oz. A good plan is to take an empty suitcase, or buy one when you get here. Postage is horrific, no surface mail, only airmail, but there is DHL. Hope your little ones thoroughly enjoy themselves, and you and your hubby of course.

Oh My Goodness!!! all ready!???? Have so much fun and we await a full photo report when you return!!!!!!! Bon Voyage!

As a SoCal resident, I can encourage you to check out the weekly Disneyland update here (they can at least let you know what attractions are closed): They post their DLand updates on Mondays.

Also, if you're looking for fabric, and can take a break while in Anaheim, you should go check out M&L fabrics, which is just a couple of miles down the road from Disneyland. Its at the corner of Knott Ave & Ball Rd, by the Walgreens drug store on the corner. (it's actually on Ball Rd.) You'll be overwhelmed!

I am totally amazed at your prolificness (is that a real word??).
Have an amazing time on your big adventure.
Looking forward to hearing all about it.
Andi :-)

Bon Voyage - hope the plane trip is not too bad.

Kellie, I know u will have a wonderful time, thanks for the lovely link and congrats on yr 1000th comment.....quite a feat.look forward to the Houston roundup and our next meet

Wow, lucky you and the kids, Im sure you'll have a great time, once the flight is over. Look forward to all your stories!

Have a wonderful and safe trip! I wonder if you did end up making those passport holders!!!

Have a fantastic time! It sounds as though this trip has everything - and I can't wait to hear about Houston (and about how much fabric you accumulate). Thanks again for the absolutely beautiful smock and sock monkey. I love them! The girls love them! You are very generous.

oh how wonderful! hope you all enjoy your trip and I look forward to hearing all about your holiday adventures!

Have an amazing time Kellie. You exhaust me with all the things you do and I hope you are able to relax at some point during the holiday. Enjoy!!!

Have a great trip!

Oh! Have a wonderful time - monkeys and all! We took the kids to Disneyland Paris in the summer and my youngest still asks me every day, two months on, which was my favourite ride, which was the fastest, which was the most fun etc. etc. So glad that we did it. Happy for you that you are fitting in a craft show too! Can't wait to hear all about it.

Oh you lucky thing you! I hope you and your family have a wonderful time. Can't wait to see what fabtastic fabric adventures you have!

Where can I find a tutorial for that gorgeous sock monkey you make. My granddaughter will be 1 soon and I think it would be just a great gift for her.

Have an absolute ball together!

Don't worry about sleep - catch up when you get back.

OK I am soooooooo jealous ;) Have a fantastic time!
Those sock monkeys are the cutest things ever.

Dotti Timkey

I have to tell you that all of my life I have been absolutely TERRIFIED of Sock Monkeys. Don't know why. They always gave me huge goosebumps and major creeps. But you've cured me. Those monkeys are the sweetest little things I've ever seen. I can't believe it. They make me smile. Is a pattern available? I never thought I would be saying that, believe me, but I'd love to make some for my sweet granddaughters! Thank you. Dotti
