And last but by all means not least this is Peak Hour ...
It's featured in this months Homespun magazine ... my poor babies spend their time asking when they will see their quilts again ... :( this one is still doing the craft market circuit with Universal Magazines... so Joshua hasn't really gotten to enjoy it yet.
All of these little cars have been appliqued using raw edge applique ... and although I know some of you will run screaming for the hills this really is a very effective and quick method of applique ... that ANYONE can do with patience & practice!
Seeing this project isn't actually a 'proper' DLN release there is another pattern release that goes with this post ... well actually there are four. I have long agonised over the release of these four small projects and I have finally been talked into it by a very sweet friend of mine .... you know who you are ... and you are probably regretting it already!!!!!
Finally ... you are able to purchase Wish you were here ....
How does your garden grow ....
First day of Christmas ...
and ... Thank you!
Each of these pattern will retail for $11.00 AUD per pattern (plus GST for Australians). Each of the patterns include all of my hints & tips for free motion quilting & raw edge applique. Instruction is provided regarding how to insert a zip with a covering flap and as with all of my projects, the background quilting design is also included in the pattern.
This is the third & final post involved in the current giveaway ... which goes like this ....
Leave a comment on this post, my last post or the first of these three posts or the next post - before the 1st of July & one random commenter from each of these posts will receive a copy of;
Wish you were here or
In Spring - which ever takes your fancy.
If you leave a comment on all three of these posts before the 1st of July one commenter will have the chance to win a kit to make up either Wish you were here or In Spring - which ever takes your fancy.
If you purchased a copy of any of these 6 new projects from one of my retailers or from myself before the 1st of July then email me telling me where & when you bought the pattern and you will have a chance to win a kit to make up either Wish you were here or In Spring - which ever takes your fancy. Please remember you will need proof of purchase.
For those of you who have asked about In Spring ... I have big plans for this project ... so you will need to wait a bit longer before you will be able to make this project. I am thrilled that you like it!!!

If you happen to need an excuse to buy fabric ... and who am I kidding ... who needs an excuse??? Blueberries is having their End of Financial Year Sale starting this Wednesday with 25% off! If you happened to visit last weeks Craft Show in Sydney you would have Little Monsters on the Blueberries stand ... this quilt will be spending another couple of weeks in Jackie so if you would like to take a peek make sure you stop by the store ..
A few of my other projects are also 'hanging out' at Hettie's Patch over the next few weeks ... so if you are in the area during the school holidays make sure you stop by!
OK that's it ... enjoy this last week of the school term ... only 2 more 6.30am wake-ups!!!!!!!

PS. Brianna will be putting in some time tomorrow entering all of the new US retailers details ... so watch this space!

(Comment 181) I LOVE your designs and was just awe struck when I found your blog 6 months ago. I read all of your old posts right up to the present and that really makes time fly. I wish I lived in Australia so I could attend some of your classes! I did attempt your free tutorial last month and although it wasn't perfect my God-daughter adores it!! Please count me in for the drawing and I am going to use your give-away as my excuse to go buy one of your patterns... Thanks for your time AND talent to share with us.
