Back in 2008 when I went to Houston for the very first time I fell in love with this machine ..... unfortunately at that time it wasn't available in Australia so I chose the Bernina 820 instead ... which wasn't a hardship! After my last visit to Houston in October I was reminded over and over again of how much I loved the Sweet Sixteen ...
... anyway they have been available in Australia since November of this year .....

.... Santa was very good to me this year!
I haven't had a lot of time to give her a real run for her money but I did manage a couple of new things before we escaped to the beach for a few days .... this was for a very special friend...
and this was for Joshua's teacher ..
... and of course the new red tree ...
I love you Sweet Sixteen!!!!!! Thank you Santa!!!!!
I hope you all have a wonderful and safe New Year!!!
Kellie

Just a couple of things Hey! I'd like to see when you're really working hard, you'll pump out hundreds! They look fabulous!
Happy New Years

Wow Kellie, fantastic new machine! I just watched the demonstration video and I'm wondering if you do the raw edge appliqué on this machine as well or only the actual quilting? I can't wait to see what wonders you will produce on this baby! The tree quilts are already a very good indicator ;). Enjoy the beach and Happy New Year. Vreni x

But I'm thinking that this might mean you have a lot of new 'gems' to share with us - can't wait.
Happy New Year to you and your family - you will be ringing the bells very very soon - bless you all

Hi! I just love your tree that you did above. Question: do you do your quilting BEFORE you apply the applique? The reason I ask is if you don't, how in the world do you get the continuation lines so lined up???? Do you do this on a regular sewing machine?

ohhhh kellie! I love that present for the teacher, adorable!
I'm sooooo glad you got your sweet sixteen - did it cost as much as a new car! I think when I get a bit more time for my quilting I'll need to buy one!
hope you had a great christmas and a very happy new year! I hope there is lots more success for you and your business in 2011!

Hi Kellie, I am in New Zealand and just found your absolutely fabulous quilt/cushion patterns online. So of course I had to order some and can't wait to get started........
Have you any plans for making more little boys quilts? I have a bunch of grandsons and have found very little applique patterns available for boys.

My Daughter has just seen your work (she is 5) and said "that lady is the best in Australia!" I have just downloaded the flower garden tutorial to give it a try. Thanks for the inspiration, your work is beautiful.

Dear Kellie,
I am a fan of your work and visit your blog now and then. I had downloaded the flower garden tutorial to try doing it. I am just a beginner in quilting, and was really fascinated with all that free motion quilting you have done. I have a basic model sewing machine, for which I recently got a free motion foot. After a little bit of practising I tried your flower garden applique. If you can please visit my blog and post your views it would be great. It is not perfect but for the first attempt I am satisfied. My blog http://preethobby.blogspot.com

HI Kellie,
Not sure you remember me or not, but I have hosted many swaps over the years, one of which you almost joined some years ago. Anyways, its been a while since I perused your blog. It always has lovely thinks on it. You'll love your new machine. I have a Fusion, and have been very happy with the machine and the company to deal with. In fact, that is me on the HandiQuilter banner at the left-top of your first picture of the post!

Hi Kellie
Just wanted to tell you that I am the future mother in law of your little boys teacher Jodie who you made the memories wall hanging for. This wallhanging takes pride of place in her new home in Canberra and I love it so much that I have purchased the pattern. I am going to make it for my grand daughter. Thanx so much for your inspiring work.
