Hi Kellie,

I am working on your little Monsters already from the pattern in Homespun. It looks great!! Just putting the first border on. I used raw edge applique however, not hand applique, but it still looks great. Did the Trapunto as well. Trying to win a prize at our quilt show in October. Will let you know how it goes.

I've been saving the little monsters pattern from the magazine but now I'll have to put it on my list to buy since it has some wonderful cushions, what a bonus. You know how much I love your sneak peeks and teasers. Lovely ads for your designs popping up everywhere, exciting!

Frogdancer

Having seen the quilt in person I know just how stunning it is. Anyone making their own will definitely not be disappointed.

Is Joshua glad to finally get his hands on it?

Kelley Oletzke

Kellie,
You are truly an inspiration. Little Monsters is great! I am in awe of your designs and quite mystified by the amount of time that goes into creating and making these works of art. I would love to win one of your patterns (Loving the little bird on the tree)and give it a go! I live in the USA so if I'm lucky enough to win (I surely hope so)I will gladly pay the shipping. Thanks for a great blog.

"wISH YOU WERE HERE" in Tassie so I could do one of your classes. I've watched everyone with envy as they've produced your gorgeous projects.
I've loved the Monster Quilt since I saw it on Display at the Melbourne Trade Show, my son reckons he's too old for it so I might have to make it for myself or even the little cushion would do.

Halfway Crafter

What a great pattern for a little boy... there is soooo much going on in this quilt!

betsy

love it!

Margy

At last... the pattern is available, I will rush to your online store to buy it so I can make one for my sons. I love the pillow, so I will start with making a pillow each.

Jantine Urban

I really love this monsters quilt to bits. The cushions are a great idea too!

Samelia's Mum

I have this issue of Australian Homespun magazine and have to say I love this monsters quilt pattern. It's the next project on my list of things to make. I'm a little afraid but also eager to try all of the "new" techniques in this quilt. I'm sure my son will love it.

Debbie

I've just bought the Bernina 820, you talked me into it. Love to be in the draw. Maybe a bit of practice would be in order. Thanks Deb.

Cornelia

I have to get this pattern its too cute,

Emily

What a wonderfully bright and fun quilt design. I'm really interested in your raw edge applique technique and want to try it this summer.

Tatkis

Your little monsters are fantastic! Oh, they are so cute :))

Best wishes,
Tatyana

Di

Kellie, you've now demonstrated that you are every bit as talented at creating quilts for little boys as you are for the girls. Great job! I adore all your patterns!

Willeke

Your little monsters design is fantastic. It is a pity I don't have little kids anymore. I hope to win your give away of the Wish you were here-pattern.

Lynne Sanders

Hi Kellie

Hi Kellie,
Your monsters are just so wonderfully different, great to see some modern and interesting designs coming out...just not enough time to make them!

Mandy Foot

Kellie, I love your monster quilt and am looking forward to my class with you in July.

JaneR

I love those cushions - I eventually managed to track down the relevant copy of Homepsun in the UK but now have an urge to have your pattern with the monster cushions too! (Would probably a good starting point before launching into a full blown quilt for the first time too!).

Love your colour choices and patterns they make your heart sing.

Maggie

Congratulations on another pattern. I love your stuff.

Nancy

what a fantastic pattern.. so bright and funny...
Love it!!
