Yeaaahh, well done to Soo and Lara, lucky things :-). For the binding I like the 1st one and the 3rd one. Megan definately has your genes, those are great. You do realise you will be fighting the boys away when she is a bit older!!! Had to laugh at the pic of the kissing lol. Have a lovely weekend .
Lisa x

Doh, I forgot to say your quilt looks amazing - cant wait to see it all and hope your finger is ok

I just got back from Amitie. I dropped in 10 minutes before closing time and the joint was jumping. I didn't get out of there until 4.30.
There was fabric strewn everywhere! (Not by me, I hasten to add. I just wanted a template and a sewing machine needle.)

That's a great outfit by your daughter

Kellie, great to see some regulars won and I saw yr tute on One Pretty Thing..........congrats for all your work and generosity

Well, it is very well deserved attention! way to go!!! I like the top stripe for the binding. The others look a little too monochromatic. I am thinking Miss Megan is going to have her own blog in the not so distant future! wow! she is great!!! Have a good weekend and get some sleep!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow - Megan has done a stunning job on her PJ's!! Glad to see she is putting her prize to good use. Love the sneak peaks of your latest quilt - your appliques and machine quilting are just gorgeous. I love stripey bindings - hope you find the perfect fabric to finish it off.

Your quilting looks gorgeous (once again)! I have been trying to learn free-form quilting lately and it is so hard.

Congratulations Soo and Lara! Your quilt looks beautiful, I can't wait to see it finished.

I also have a Bernina, and I've sewed my finger a few times... my quilting friends here tease me, good to know I'm not alone!
I LOVE the bright, fun colors of you quilts and crafts... thanks for posting!

Bad, bad Bernina! One must never bite the hand that feeds it! And Woohoo Miss Megan! What a great job! How fun to share your love of sewing!

Oh. Big. Sigh. I love your quilting SO much. I so wish I could quilt like that!

And Big Congratulations to your winners!!!

Oh, and I forgot to say, I'm such a dope. I kept looking at that monkey thinking -- "Does he have two right arms?" Then I smacked myself when I realized it was his tail! Doh!

Congratulations to both the winners. I love the sneak peek of the quilt, it looks beautiful. Your daughter must have her mother's talents in the sewing department, her outfit looks great.

Congrat's Soo and Lara!

Those quilted swirls are gorgeous. I REALY need to learn how to do free sewing on my machine - you know one of those things I will do one day.....

Kellie I literally stumbled onto your blog when I was searching for a pattern.
Your quilts are absolutely stunning! Really beautiful. And unique.

The smocks are also what I was looking for. Would you please email me the pattern?
So lovely!

Your quilts are beautiful and fresh. I love them. I came to see you from RicRac.

Wow look at the work on the quilt - that is gorgous.

Lucy Locket-Pocket

coming visit from ric-rac too. i love the sock monkies-they're so fun!! i think it's great that your young daughter wants to sew-she'll have so much fabulous, unique clothes that way!

Kim McBirnie

Oh, i wish I could machine quilt - yours is really stunning - where on earth do you start with something like that? I've got a Janome, and although it comes with the foot attachment I'm just clueless. Guess I should stick to bags and let you experts continue to dazzle us novices!

That is so exciting! I love when great projects spread like wildfire! Yours certainly deserved this!!!

Those art smocks are amazing. I stumbled across your blog and like it very much!!! You are super talented!

Wow, the quilt looks increadable, you are very talented to say the least, and your girl looks like she will follow, good job, both of you.

Kim McBirnie

Usually when my sewing room is that tidy it means I'm avoiding doing something else - so I am an expert tidier! I'll keep your room tidy if you teach me to do machine quilting? OK, so its a bit far, but.........

I love what you've made! I am going to add you to my blog roll. I have really enjoyed visiting, you are so creative!

Wow such talent in your family. Quick question, I have been looking everywhere for sock that are as cute as yours for sock monkeys. Can you tell me what brand you prefer, that will give me a starting point. Thanks a bunch

What lucky winners!!
And what a clever girl you have. What is the secret? When did you start teaching her to sew?
Love the new quilt (at least the little bit I've seen). Can't wait to see the rest.

Melissa Antolovic

wow what a cute sock monkey - i'm going to have to scour kids departments to find some cool stripey socks to make my own

Hi Kellie - came over via Ric Rac this time. New quilt looking fab! Hope your week has been more productive now kids are back at school - mine seems to have slipped away!

Love the outfit Megan. Better watch out Kellie, she could be taking over your sewing room......
